Bex Morley is a British illustrator and pattern designer living on Vancouver Island in Canada. Her work
typically includes fresh colour palettes, pretty details, fun characters, flowers and hand lettering. She is
particularly inspired by the nature of the North West Pacific and her classic English country childhood.

Inspiration for Promenade

The collection is a fun and romantic interpretation of the parties, accessories, cakes and social etiquette of the upper classes in London during the Regency period.

The design process involved researching historic styles of food and fashion (and watching multiple Regency period dramas) to draw lots of different elements to turn into patterns.
